Alstra, the commercial division of Concepcion Industrial Corp. (CIC), co-presented the recent 20th PhilConstruct HVAC/R Expo at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, where it introduced its end-to-end systems powered by global brands Carrier, Otis and Toshiba. Alstra touted sustainability as their business priority, emphasizing the need for buildings to adapt to the latest technologies that combine comfort with energy-efficiency. “Our factories focus on research and development, and we’re always looking for ways to save on power consumption, and to be environmentally responsible,” said Rajan Komarasu, group director of Alstra. Alstra held side sessions focusing on conserving energy via new developments in air-conditioning and elevator technologies.
