Bagging the big one. World Plaza, an office building developed by Daiichi Properties, recently won the  gold medal  in the ‘outstanding developer for the office’ category in this year’s FIABCI-Philippines Property & Real Estate Awards. FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation) is an  prestigious business club of real estate professionals worldwide.  The award comes at the heels of Daiichi Properties’ ‘five-star best developer website Philippines’ plum that the company received in the 2017 Asia-Pacific Property Awards held in Thailand a few months ago. The ‘outstanding developer’ award recognizes excellence in completed real estate projects, including architecture and design, development and construction, financial and marketing, environmental impact, and community benefits. Receiving the award was Daiichi Properties senior vice president Charmaine Uy (fourth from left); With her were (from left) chairman emeritus Florentino Dulalia Jr.; chairman Pedro Tario; FIABCI-Philippines president Nestor Mangio;  architect and junior manager Gina de Vera; FIABCI-International World president Farook Mahmood;  trustee Reghis Romero II; and Housing & Urban Development Coordinating Council deputy secretary-general Jeremy Marquez.
