Heads up for building, construction industry

Build Eco Xpo (BEX) Asia,  a trade exhibition for the region’s green building market, and Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) Asia, a regional HVAC-R, water and energy exhibition, will kick off in September to advance the vision of a digital-first future for the industry. BEX and MCE Asia will highlight the industry’s latest efforts and developments that will help advance climate change action for the region. Held as part of the Singapore Green Building Week (SGBW), BEX Asia, together with co-located events MCE Asia and the annual International Green Building Conference (IGBC), will gather together more than 12,000 professionals, thought leaders and policymakers from across the building industry. With the Philippines being one of five countries in the world facing the highest risks from climate change, the country is now pushing for more green building projects.   At the press briefing to launch the trade exhibit were (from left): BEX Asia 2018 spokespersons Choong Chow Neng, director for business of G-Energy Global Pte, Ltd;  Louise Chua, business development director / project director at Reed Exhibitions; Eduardo A.
