PUTTING ON A SHOW. Bosch recently unveiled its newest solutions at Philconstruct Manila, held at the SMX Convention Hall, Mall of Asia, from power tools, security alarm and surveillance systems, automotive parts and accessories, drive and control systems, as well as industrial boiler technology for the construction industry. Bosch exhibited the green laser measuring tool, one of the highlight products at the expo, as well as its cordless GSR 180 drill/driver and the GSB 180 impact drill. A recent innovation was the AVIOTEC, is a video-based fire detection system, which can identify smoke and flames at the source, even in inaccessible environments such as high ceilings or dusty and humid areas. Also featured were Bosch’s video surveillance cameras – Autodome IP 5000i, Flexidome IP indoor 5000i, Flexidome IP panoramic 7000 and the Dinion IP starlight 6000i IR. These cameras have video analytics built in as a standard (intelligent) feature.
