Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte (2nd from left) and other city officials announce the ban on the distribution and use of single-use plastic and disposable materials, including cutlery for dine-in purposes, in all hotels and restaurants in the city under new Ordinance No. 2876. The measure, which has garnered the support from the EcoWaste Coalition and other green groups, was announced at the Novotel Hotel in Cubao.
