Ecowaste message

The Ecological Waste Coalition of the Philippines, a public interest network of community, church, school, environmental and health groups united by the common goal to end wasting through the promotion of environmental justice and stewardship, has a strong message to candidates, parties and the general public: Think Before you throw; To reduce the volume of post-election discards requiring disposal, find innovative uses for used campaign materials such as leaflets, posters and sample ballots instead of burning or dumping them, which can only contribute to environmental pollution.  Manny Palmero
