PAL beats Cebu Pacific

Philippine Airlines cagers squeaked past the squad of Cebu Pacific (business and hard-court rivals) in overtime play, 93-91, to win the 3rd Philippine Aviation Basketball Association tournament organized by the Civil Aeronautics Board. The victorious PAL team, composed of pilots, bested Cebu Pacific in a best-of-three championship series held at the Philippine Air Force gym at Villamor Air Base.
