Rally for rice

A group of Filipino palay farmers, small rice retailers, consumers and workers march in Mendiola, Manila on Wednesday to call for the passage into law of the Rice Tariffication Bill of 2018. The protesters appealed to President Rodrigo Duterte not to reject some provisions of the bill, as they claimed doing so would lead to more hardships for the Filipino people.
