Bureau of Customs-NAIA District Director Carmelita ‘Mimel’ Talusan, one of the country’s top international shooters, leads the shooting proficiency training for members of the BOC-Enforcement and Security Service under Director Filemon Yogi Ruiz. In partnership with the Association of Firearms and Ammunition Dealers Inc. under Jethro Dionisio, the training was initiated by Customs Commissioner Isidro Lapeña to ensure that all new recruits are capable of handling their firearms. Dionisio is inviting gun enthusiasts to the free seminars on gun handling and responsible ownership at the Defense & Sporting Arms Show at the SM Megamall on Nov. 15-19.
