New machine

Makati Mayor Abigail Binay (second from left) speaks with Ospital ng Makati medical director Dr. Vergel Binay at the launch and blessing on Monday of the Digital Mammographic Examination System recently acquired by the city government for the city-run hospital. The mayor said the full field digital mammography machine is crucial to the success of the city’s breast cancer awareness and prevention campaign. The machine will be operated by the OsMak Radiology Department headed by Dr. Realinda Pimentel (third from left), and will serve up to 15 patients a day.
