Metrobank loan to Pepsi

Metropolitan Bank & Trust Co. signs a five-year, P2.5-billion term loan with Pepsi-Cola Products Philippines Inc. to finance the bottling company’s expansion initiatives. The credit is the second-term loan transaction of the bank with Pepsi, with the first funding the construction of one of the biggest manufacturing facilities of Pepsi in Batangas province. Formalizing the loan in a signing ceremony are Metrobank executive vice president and head of Institutional Banking Sector Mylene Caparas (center, left) and Pepsi Cola senior vice president and chief financial officer Imran Moid (center right).
