Philippine Seven Corporation marks another milestone in its aggressive expansion campaign in the country with the recent opening of its first two C-stores in Mindoro province. This successful provincial initiative also made 7-Eleven the first convenience retailer in the whole MIMAROPA region.  The stores, which opened in Sabang, Puerto Galera and Calapan in Mindoro, are expected to serve the island location’s vast customer base composed of visiting tourists, as well as locals in the residential and commercial areas with an estimated 20,000 population. Present at the  Calapan branch opening were  (from left) Victor Miranda IV  (Project Engineer), Rowena Uriarte (Franchisee), Jose Victor Paterno (President and CEO of Philippine Seven Corporation), Mayor Arnan Panaligan  (Mayor of Calapan), Ulysses Borral (Business Development Division Head), Emma Nucum  (Zone Manager for South Luzon Business Unit), Jomil Raga  (Business Development Specialist). With this significant expansion development amid booming economy, 7-Eleven remains the country’s No. 1 and fastest-growing C-store brand with national retail presence now in 54 locations. PSC continues to actively seek for new locations and potential franchisees in viable markets and is looking into opening 10 more stores for the whole MIMAROPA region by year-end. The 7-Eleven franchise is an active advocate of sports development, having sponsored several cycling club teams to international cycling competitions. It is also the primary sponsor of the 7-Eleven Run.
