Chinese corner

The Parañaque City Public Library has launched the Chinese Corner Project, a partnership between the National Library of the Philippines and the National Library of China on the promotion of multicultural awareness specifically on Chinese education, language and literature. City information officer Mar Jimenez, on behalf of Mayor Edwin Olivarez and City Librarian Cissette Ricardo, NLP director Gilbert Adriano and Dolly Carungui, signed an agreement during the rites held at the third floor of the City Library, as several books were turned by NLC representative Joaquin Sy to the city.
