Caloocan City Mayor Oscar Malapitan (right) hands to Marawi Mayor Majul Usman Gandamra the symbolic P1-million check donation for the restoration of the battle-torn city in Mindanao at the Caloocan City Hall gazebo. According to Gandamra, the armed conflict resulted in the collapse of the city’s economic activities, and the damage is now estimated at P56 billion. The Marawi mayor also thanked the Caloocan city government’s initiative.
