A stall owner at the Dapitan Arcade in Quezon City has started showcasing the store’s Yuletide decorations, only 98 days to the first Midnight Mass in this largely Catholic country of 106 million people, which received the Christian Cross on March 16, 1521 when Fernando Magallanes, sailing under the flag of Spain, sailed into the islands.
