The Parañaque City government distributed new fire and rescue trucks worth P6 million to three barangays to improve their delivery of services. Mayor Edwin Olivarez personally handed the symbolic keys over to the barangay chairmen and emergency response teams of Barangay Vitalez, Merville, and Don Bosco during a simple ceremony at city hall. Last month, Olivarez also distributed mini dump trucks intended for hauling garbage from the barangays to the dumpsite.
