Summer workers

Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez congratulates 600 indigent students getting short-term but gainful employment this summer season under the Special Program for the Employment of Students in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment. The SPES beneficiaries will be engaged by city hall for 20 to 52 days of various summer work appropriate to their skills until May. The student beneficiaries, who will receive minimum wage every day for 30 days, will be assigned in different city hall offices as tax mappers, encoders, assistants, and barangay survey personnel.
