Listed Vivant Corp. on Wednesday assured it will alleviate Palawan’s power supply problems by implementing system improvement projects this year and utilizing the proven track record and expertise of its subsidiaries.
Vivant’s said its joint venture projects will ensure adequate power supply to serve the island’s needs. It said that Palawan Electric Cooperative’s approved capital expenditure program would ensure stable power supply on the island.
“Ultimately, that combined with the upcoming system improvements covered by Paleco’s ERC-approved capex program and Delta P Inc. and Calamian Islands Power Corp.’s proven track records of service are poised to be the three catalysts that will help alleviate Palawan’s power supply problems for good,” DPI and CIPC president Walden Tantuico said in a statement.
