PSALM seeking bids on Manila power plant

State-run Power Sector Assets and Liabilities Management Corp. is seeking offers for the negotiated sale of the Manila Thermal Power Plant land in Paco, Manila with the minimum offer price set at P736.368 million.

PSALM said in a statement expressions of interest and acceptance of the negotiation procedures should be submitted on or before January 23 to the PSALM Privatization, Bids and Awards Committee. 

It said due diligence activities may be conducted by interested parties starting January 9. the deadline for the submission of offers is on January 31, 12 p.m. at the PSALM Office, 24th Floor Vertis North Corporate Center 1, North Avenue, Quezon City. 

The MTPP Land, situated along the Pasig River in Isla de Provisor, Paco, Manila,  has an indicative area of 20,975 square meters. 

“It can be noted that the first and second rounds of bidding for the MTPP Land failed on August 15, 2018 and November 23, 2018, respectively,” PSALM said.
