PLDT bullish on enterprise solutions

PLDT Inc. said Thursday it expects a 15-percent growth in revenues from its home and enterprise businesses this year.

“Hopefully, we can hit P70 billion, but our target is P68 billon combined this year, which is a double-digit growth,” PLDT chief revenue officer and ePLDT president and chief executive Eric Alberto told reports at the sidelines of the PLDT and Cisco partnership launching.

PLDT’s home and enterprise businesses booked a revenue of P29.3 billion and P30.6 billon, respectively last year.

PLDT and global IT company Cisco strengthened their partnership to offer next-generation business solutions for small and medium enterprises and big companies.

PLDT Enterprise and ePLDT teamed up with leading IT innovators to offer the most secure, visible and empowering business solutions to large businesses and small and medium enterprises.

“Our collaboration with Cisco is just the first of many synergies we’re building to redefine the enterprise experience. PLDT is not just about giving fiber-fast connectivity, we aim to empower our enterprise customers with relevant, cutting-edge solutions that address today’s ever-changing and volatile business environment,” PLDT senior vice president and Smart enterprise group head Jovy Hernandez said.

“PLDT has heavily invested in expanding coverage of its fixed and wireless network which now spans 150,000 kilometers of fiber optic cables running throughout the entire archipelago, addressing the communications needs of millions of Filipinos and empowering businesses nationwide with innovative  solutions,” Alberto said.
