Jardine Distribution Inc. president Edwin Hernandez has recently received the CEO Excel Award from the International Association of Business Communicators.
The CEO Excel Award is an annual recognition handed out by the IABC to leading and innovative business, government and social personalities who have demonstrated their exceptional use of strategic communications to advance their causes and/or business interests.
Hernandez’ career cover various industries including stints in advertising, public relations, marketing and corporate communications with leading companies such as the Manila Chronicle, Asia Brewery, Sime Darby and recently with Jardine Davies and now Jardine Distribution.
The CEO Excel award particularly recognizes Hernandez’ and Jardine Distribution’s drive to educate the marginalized sectors of society such as farmers and carpenters so that they can improve their livelihood. Jardine Distribution is a leading marketing company that markets various agriculture, construction and home care related products.
