Cathay Land sees P12b in revenues from 4 new towers

Property developer Cathay Land Inc. said it expects to raise P12 billion in revenues from the sale of four towers in Las Piñas City.

Cathay Land’s project Anantara Square is strategically located along Alabang-Zapote Road between SM South Mall and Robinsons Place Las Piñas. The location places future residents within easy reach of Alabang, the central business district in southern part of Metro Manila.

“Given our project’s strategic location in the dynamic south of the metro, our highly attractive launch price and easy payment scheme make Anantara Square an ideal investment,” said Cathay Land president Jeffrey Ng.

Ng said it is the right time to launch Anantara Square as property consultancy firm Santos-Knight Frank recently tagged Alabang as the next “hotspot” in the fast-growing Metro Manila property sector.

Santos-Knight Frank said in its 2019 Wealth Report that Alabang was poised to be the next hotspot in Metro Manila, with a series of major infrastructure and development projects set to enhance the area’s accessibility and appeal.

The consultancy firm said Skyway Stage 3 which is due for completion mid next year would boost the appeal of Alabang as a residential and commercial hub. Othel V. Campos

The first tower, a 20-story mixed-use building, will feature about 700 units which are mostly studio units and 1-bedroom suites. Three more towers are planned in the next few years to complete the entire development.

The project is targeted at young professionals and starting families. It offers 24-square-meter studio units starting at P2.6 million and 1-bedroom units with a P3.1-million starting price. Families that require bigger spaces can combine adjacent units at the two penthouse floors.

Amenities include an aquarium at the building’s center with a lap pool and kiddie pool, pocket gardens, a courtyard, a social hall and a study lounge. A mini-mall at the ground level up to the third floor will provide residents added convenience via a good mix of retail and service shops.

Skyway will provide a seamless connection between the North and South Luzon Expressways.

“We advise investors and aspiring homeowners to position themselves now, as property values are expected to appreciate once this landmark project is completed,” Ng said, referring to the Skyway’s new section.

The construction of the Anantara Square is expected to start April 2019, with the turnover commencing in 2023.
