Oil retailer Total Philippines Corp. plans to double its retail network to 1,000 stations around the country in the next five years from 500 stations this year.

Total Philippines managing director Laurent Stouffe said the company already put up 50 company-owned and dealer-owned stations across the country this year.

“Our target is 1,000 service stations in Philippines over five years, by building flagship stations. Two years ago, size of Total’s network is roughly 200 stations,” he said.

He did not disclose investments for the five-year network expansion program.

Total Philippines, with a 20-year presence in the country, is a growing player in the Philippine downstream petroleum industry.
