Enactus Philippines will hold its 2019 National Finals on July 27, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.
Commission on Higher Education chairperson Dr. Prospero De Vera and US Embassy deputy chief of mission to the Philippines John Law were invited to be keynote speakers in the opening and closing ceremonies, respectively.
Enactus chairman Jose Leviste Jr. said: “The National Finals is a great opportunity to present the active teams’ community development projects, and witness first-hand the use of entrepreneurial action in empowering communities and improving people’s livelihoods.”
Enactus Philippines country leader Atty. Leo Dominguez said that for this year’s National Finals, a special competition called Business Innovation Idea Challenge was introduced to align with the Enactus International’s objective of highlighting projects that use technology or innovation.
“This Idea and Innovation Challenge aims to provide an avenue for new or existing teams to pitch their viable business innovation ideas that demonstrate entrepreneurial leadership and provide innovative solutions to pressing economic, social and environmental problems,” Dominguez said.
