Property developer Century Properties Group Inc. said Friday reservation sales of its maiden affordable house and lot development in Tanza, Cavite reached P1 billion, on strong demand for quality housing projects.
Century Properties said in statement that of the 3,000 units that would be built in the 26-hectare project, some 860 house and lot units were already sold as of mid-July.
PHirst Park Homes, the first-home division and brand name of Century Properties, attributed the strong takeup of its house and lot project to market’s demand for quality housing in the price range of P1 million to P3 million.
PHirst Park Homes president Ricky Celis said buyers mostly from the Calabarzon area (Cavite Laguna, Batangas and Quezon) accounted for 60 percent of the pre-sales, followed by Filipinos working overseas.
Mostbuyers are end-users looking for a home to raise their family, or to retire in.
“We are optimistic that the sales momentum will be sustained as we are set to open the second phase of the Tanza property soon,” Celis said.
Monthly amortization for a 40-square meter townhouse or single-attached unit with a perimeter fence and gate, finished ceiling, flooring and bathrooms starts at P9,000.
The development offers amenities that provide opportunities for health, fitness and community bonding activities. It also offers Wi-Fi zones and a shuttle system.
Century Properties identified the first homebuyer market as one of the two allied real estate segments for its Century 2020 business expansion, with the others being leisure and tourism.
