Clark sees revenues hitting P980m in 2018

CLARK FREEPORT—Clark International Airport Corp. expects revenues to reach P980 million this year.

CRK, considered as among busiest airports in the country with 440 domestic and international flights a week, can accomodate 7,000 passengers a day.

Leases from concessionaires and other establishments, and aviation related businesses comprise most of CRK’s income.

“As of Dec. 11, CRK has catered to a total of 2,440,957 passengers,” CRK said.

Airlines flying out of CRK includes Philippine Airlines, Qatar Airways, Emirates, China Eastern, Royal Air, Cathay Dragon, Asiana Airlines, AirAsia, Jetstar, JimAir, Alphaland, Scoot and AirSWIFT.

CIAC president and chief executive Jaime Alberto Melo noted that 90 aviation-related investors are operating in the Clark aviation complex from just 61 in 2017.

The aviation complex includes the aerodrome and logistics facilities.
