Now Corp., a listed company controlled by the Velarde family, said net profit jumped 158 percent to P5.82 million in the first half of the year from P2.26 million year-on-year.
Now said gross revenues amounted to P87.38 million in the January-to-June period, up 29 percent from P68.10 million a year ago.
The company’s Fiber-in-the-Air broadband business surged 105 percent, delivering gross revenues of P20.01 million from P9.77 million a year ago.
The software licenses and technical services segment also rose 35 percent, with gross revenues increasing from P37.84 million to P51.07 million.
