Global workspace provider Regus said Thursday it plans to expand operations outside Metro Manila in the next three to five years.

Regus Philippines country manager Lars Wittig said in an interview the company was looking at Zamboanga, General Santos, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Iloilo, Bacolod, Naga City, Clark, Subic, Baguio, La Union, Laguna, Cavite, Batangas and Dumaguete as the potential locations for its expansion in the next three to five years.

“The demand in the Philippines is extremely big that is why we are expanding. I cannot see us slowing down,” Wittig said, adding the demand for flexible space was driven by both local and international companies.

He said the company was getting 700 inquiries a month, which showed a significant demand for flexible workspace in the country.
